Donations
The Home Builders Foundation is the charitable arm of the Home Builder & Remodelers Association of Western Massachusetts. Funds are raised throughout the year at HBRA membership functions such as meetings, golf tournaments and the annual clambake. The funds are distributed for three major purposes through the foundation:
Scholarship Program – Member, trade school, and Student Chapter scholarships are awarded annually. (Tens of thousands of dollars have been awarded in scholarship funds to worthy students who pursue higher education. Tool stipend awards are given to deserving trade school students who are entering the building industry.)
Charitable Work – Funds have gone to the American Red Cross Hometown Heroes and Rebuilding Together/Christmas in April programs.
General Fund – Contributions can be earmarked for the general fund or specific purpose such as landscaping, library material, etc.
