HBRAWM proudly congratulates Wayne Walton and LP Adams Co., Inc. on their well-deserved nomination as one of the 2025 Legends of the Industry!
For an incredible 125 years, LP Adams has been a cornerstone of Berkshire County, providing top-quality building materials and exceptional service to both professionals and homeowners. Under Wayne’s leadership as fourth-generation president and owner, the company continues the legacy begun by his great-grandfather, Leroy Adams, in 1900 — making LP Adams the oldest continuously operating retail business in Dalton, MA.
Wayne’s commitment to excellence extends far beyond business. Over his 52 years of active involvement with the Home Builders Association, he helped establish the Berkshire County Builders Association and served multiple terms as president. His dedication to education, community service, and the building industry is unmatched — from supporting local schools, food pantries, veterans, and youth programs, to contributing to projects like the traveling Vietnam Veterans War Memorial.
Today, the Walton family legacy continues through Wayne’s children, Shannon and Corey, and his grandchildren, who proudly carry on the LP Adams tradition.
Please join in celebrating Wayne and LP Adams Co., Inc. for their remarkable contributions, leadership, and service to our industry and community. Their impact truly embodies what it means to be a Legend of the Industry.
